Honeysuckle is also named Lonicera Japonica. Its Chinese name “Jinyinhua” comes from the Compendium of Materia Medica(Bencao Gangmu), describing that the color is white in the beginning and later turns to yellow. The flower bud of Honeysuckle, especially for medical use, contains active component Chlorogenic Acid and has anti-inflammatory effect.
